Some of my posts lately are just short and stupid because barely anybody reads my blogs so I don't really care. But that's not a very good attitude to have and everything I do should be to glorify God, even in blogland.
Perhaps I should actually start using my Twitter account for those times when I only have three sentences to share and I should only blog when I've actually thought something through?
Nah forget Twitter. But I should definitely only blog if I feel like I have something that's worth sharing, i.e. I've researched, thought about it, or I've honestly been challenged or encouraged.
Keep me accountable, oh-kay?
Psssh. Blog police. Hate crimes. Stick it to the man and all that.
ReplyDeleteI check blogs infrequently at best, so I don't have any place to say this... but I'll butt in anyway.
I don't think there's anything wrong with the stuff you write about. Sure it's occasionally bizarre, but atleast it's interesting.
I guess I don't know exactly what blogs are for - reading? - but I would guess that another outlet for release of thoughts is a good thing. Or the maelstrom swells, swirls and sucks you under.
(Personally, I have resolved this dilemma by restricting all thinking to banking hours.)
There are enough damned things in the world to conjure up feelings of false guilt and self-conciousiousness. Or maybe it's just me...
All that said, it's your business with God.
Also, twitter is annoying.
Chill. But pack warm for MYC.
